Foundation for a College Education (FCE) offers all programs and services to students and families free of charge. More than 500 individuals, families, donor advised funds, community organizations, foundations, corporations, and the City of East Palo Alto support young students of color from East Palo Alto and similar communities as they realize their dream of a college education. Donations provide services for more than 200 students and families annually.
We thank the 2017-2018 philanthropic investors who make educational opportunity a priority.

I support FCE because of alumni like Laura Martinez, former mayor of East Palo Alto, and Carmen Ochoa, who will be entering medical school at UCLA. FCE gives students a shot at a better life by providing them with the tools to achieve their goal of a college education. FCE helps students succeed not only in high school but lends a helping hand throughout their college experience. My dream would be to clone FCE so all students of color and low-income backgrounds would have the chance to fulfill their dreams. There’s no better way to build a stronger nation!
