Shelley Willig
FCE Board Member
College Advisor, Mid Peninsula High School
The first 20 years of her career, Shelley worked in marketing and communications in both creative services agencies and high-tech firms. Today, she is grateful to focus her marketing expertise on projects as Head of Education Practice with Graybird Foundation, an organization that donates marketing services to local nonprofits focused on education, community, and the environment. Because she enjoys diversity in her day, Shelley also works as an Independent College Advisor in her firm, Sage College Advising, where she is increasingly encouraged by the desire and ability of today’s teenagers to build healthy communities and solve environmental problems. Shelley coordinates the volunteer senior advising program at Foundation for a College Education, and is now thrilled to bring her marketing expertise and passion for education to the Board. Shelley has a BA in Communication from Cal State Fullerton, and her certificate in College Admission Counseling from UC Berkeley Extension. More than anything, Shelley enjoys hiking and dinner conversations with her husband and their four sons.
