Michelle Tarbell

STEAM Teacher Aide

Michelle Tarbell is the Middle School STEAM teacher. She first started working with school communities in East Palo Alto during her time as Education Assistant at the Palo Alto Art Center. She has lived in the Bay Area since 2011, and graduated from UC Berkeley in 2015 with a BA in History and Classical Civilizations. She earned her Master’s degree in Museum Studies from USF in 2017. She is currently pursuing a Master’s in Education and a Single Subject Teaching Credential at SJSU. Michelle loves working with children and empowering them through constructivist teaching practices. After graduating from SJSU in Fall 2021, she will be pursuing a career as a Social Sciences high school teacher.
