Jose, a proud East Palo Alto native, attended Palo Alto schools and is an FCE alum. He graduated from Palo Alto High School in 2018 before earning his bachelor’s degree in Chicano & Latino Studies, with a minor in Sociology, from Sonoma State University in 2022. As a first-generation college graduate, Jose understands firsthand the obstacles and challenges many students face in pursuing higher education. Now, he has returned to the organization that once supported him so he can offer guidance, encouragement, and insight to the next generation.
