I support FCE because of alumni like Laura Martinez, former mayor of East Palo Alto, and Carmen Ochoa, who will be entering medical school at UCLA. FCE gives students a shot at a better life by providing them with the tools to achieve their goal of a college education. FCE helps students succeed not only in high school but lends a helping hand throughout their college experience. My dream would be to clone FCE so all students of color and low-income backgrounds would have the chance to fulfill their dreams. There’s no better way to build a stronger nation!
